TITLE: Technical Sales Engineer

REPORTS TO: Business Development Director

DATE OF JOB DESCRIPTION: JANUARY 2024

JOB PURPOSE

To assist and support the Business Development Director in working with existing and prospective customers to the business, on new and future opportunities , from the initial stage of understanding the customer requirements and relaying these to the relevant teams within bf1 to ensure successful delivery for the customer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To support customers with technical and sales enquiries.

2. To prepare and deliver presentations, proposals and quotations to existing and prospective clients.

3. Support customers with the implementation of company products.

4. Assist with the maintenance of customer focussed documentation for company products.

5. Advise internal and external parties on specification, manufacturing, delivery requirements and any other issues.

6. Ensure accuracy of documentation and where appropriate updating customer facing documentation.

7. To assist with marketing, advertising and promotion planning.

8. To assist with the marketing and technology research to include feedback on competitive products.

9. To interpret feedback from customers on existing products and feedback to bf1 team.

10. To participate in any training or development which contributes to the department and/or company objectives.

11. To carry out any duties as required by the company to ensure a quality product and service is delivered to customers on time. Business Development Director Technical Sales Assistant/Engineer

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Degree educated preferably in Electronics Engineering

· 1-2 years of experience in a technical sales role

· Preferably experience of motorsport electronics

· Customer support experience
