Junior Technical Support Engineer

Job description

Job Purpose

To work within bf1systems support team, assisting existing and prospective customers. bf1systems Group produce market leading motorsport electronics, and the belief is that high quality support work contributes significantly to the efficient development of the products, helping maintain and build sales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support customers with technical enquiries, directing them accordingly.

2. Support customers with implementation of company products.

3. Assist with the maintenance of customer focussed documentation for company products.

4. Advise internal and external parties on specification, manufacturing, delivery requirements and any other issues.

5. Ensure accuracy of documentation and where appropriate updating customer facing documentation.

6. To assist with the marketing and technology research to include feedback on competitive products.

7. To interpret feedback from customers on existing products and feedback to bf1systems team.

8. To participate in any training or development which contributes to the department and/or company objectives.

9. To carry out any duties as required by the company to ensure a quality product and service is delivered to customers on time.

10. Demonstrate excellent commitment for every customer.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Degree educated, preferably in Electronics Engineering

• 1-2 years of experience in a technical role

• Preferably experience of motorsport electronics

• Customer support experience

• Building Relationships - proven experience in a customer facing role with the ability to present proposals to existing and new customers.
