We design and build an exciting range of specialist interior electronics products including sensors, wiring and associated software as well as high end specialised steering wheels from our facilities in UK and Romania.

Placement Details

Main duties

• Design of robust electronics systems for Motorsport applications, from concept to manufacture including system definition, specification prototyping and validation as well as drawing creation using Altium, complimented by simulation software as appropriate. Product design process must where applicable meet relevant legislation for Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and/or other legislative requirements.

• Maintain and support changes to existing products and electronics designs.

• Evaluate the performance of new electronics designs using simulation tools and through prototype testing.

• Maintain appropriate documentation standards on projects, relating to electronic/electrical designs.

• Supporting the engineering team with appropriate product testing to the DVP (Design Validation Plan)

• Support the engineering team with a variety of day to day tasks to support existing product in manufacture and new product developments.

Would preferably suit a Motorsport Engineering, Electronics or Electronics Systems Design Engineering student.

Placement geographical/site location: 1 x Electronics Design placement in Diss, Norfolk.

The placement will be for: 12 months minimum
